Pre-determined Attack Orders and a few other ideas
Hey all. I've been playing for a few months now, and like many of you, I've lost more than a few troops to simply forgetting about an impending attack. My proposal is a fairly simple one: Allow us to set a 'script' that automatically gives the orders as if we were attacking.
This would be a fairly simple setup. There are twenty rounds to combat so there would be the ability to set our plan of attack for each round. I know Haypi likes to charge for everything so, maybe the first five rounds are free, allowing players to set a basic strategy for attacking forts and oasis, but for those that have a solid strategy that works well on players, perhaps coins will allow you to program in the remaining fifteen rounds. Even if it cost a few coins just to set your first five rounds, it could get the job done, allowing you to join chat or do what you have to do in other areas without too much worry.
My second idea, I believe has been stated before, but I couldn't find the forum thread for it, so here goes. How about attack timers are displayed in chat instead of the stupid banner at the top that always says please be patient with the new game. The game isn't new. Hasn't been for a while now. Timers up there would be so much more valuable to players that are both active in the game as well as chat.
And finally, I think that gaining coins for free should be easier. I've seen people randomly get coins with fortune or luck or whatever, but I had 100 fortune for about 2 months, checking my daily gift every day and I got nothing better than when my fortune was all the way down. Seems like the odds of getting coins that way is through the roof (or only experts get them, not sure) and there should be some sort of method of allowing the non-paying players who simply enjoy the game to use tactics like teleporting once in a while too - either that or somehow limit the teleport attack option by only allowing a player to move a single city once every 24 hours. That way, they would be stuck there for a while and have to suffer possible retaliation.
Well, there's my ideas. Hope they get implemented, but I don't have great expectations from the Haypi team. This cash cow of theirs seems to be doing just fine without them improving it.
