New fortifications

With only 2 kinds of fortifications available, (trap holes, turrets) the strategy of defending leaves alot to be desired. So, here are a few trap ideas that would be relative in the Medeval age.

Oil towers. (towers with pots of boiling oil, weak against archers but strong against infantry and cavalry.

barricades. (wood fences with sharpened points sticking towards the enemy. strong against cavalry

rubble throwers. (smaller stationary versions of the catapult. long range and most effective against catapults
And as the seige ended, and the city left aflame, a survivor asked using his last breath, "What is your name?", of the General in Armour of Black...
"I am Lord Rhanock... King of Numo-Ravi."

Re: New fortifications

Also, I think we should add capacity to traps being built, im sorry but 15 squares is too little, especialy when catapults outrank turrets in range

Re: New fortifications

These ideas are great, especially the oil towers. That'll cause archers to be more relevant.

Re: New fortifications

You mean near? If your countdowns are right, it'll be in a week more or less.
