Units

Here is my idea for troops, I know there are other post on this.

When clicking on barrecks you click on infantry, caverly, archers, or siege engines. Each one will bring you to a separate menuwhich will have more troops that fit into that rowl.

To get more troops you have to buy the researche from the researche building once learned you spend resources to further increase that unit.

By doing this it will open up a wide selectio of troops that fit into each person play style and the defender or atker will have to adjust his play style overcome the enamy

Examples

Infatry-
Pikeman- heavy defense very slow 
Gains twice atk power agaist caverly and losses halve atk power on atking other players

Swordman- melée class all around fill in. Unit

Berserker- heavy atk value and low df
On df losses halve atk and gains double on atking

Caverly

Scouts- very fast lrl df ltl atk

Mounted swordmen- 
Heavy caverly

Mounted archers- fast and can strike from a distances

Archers-
Long bows- long range decent atk

Compact bowmen- short range powerful atk

...

Siege engines-
Ballistas-strong agaist infatry weak agaist caverly

Cats- strong agaist building dfs and slow inf and weak agaist caverly and fast moveing units
....

Now we have some possible ideas now maybay have it now have a new spot on map as a blacksmith/armorer that you have to upgrade to cut down o reaearche time and also to unlock newer upgrades
Like upgrade heavy armor, mail armor, leather arOur, sheilds, pike, war horses, swords, so on each upgrade will increase each class that uses said armour or wepon or mount 

Then have at barrecks training grounds which has to be upgraded to increases training of each unit type not there class 
Which allows for stronger units to be upgraded like spearman to heavy spearman to pikeman so man lvs will unlock a new class in each field

very good idea.. a few have been suggested but the system for it hass not so it is a legitimate suggestion and not just another one suggesting troops...

Thank you and it is sir we need more to do or more people will leave and by giveing so many options to troops it will complety changethe game

it will change it for the better and not just a little bit... and i know one problem haypi is having is that if they give more variety then ppl will eventually want more troops but with the variety u said and maybe a little mor i dnt think they would request more troops... but 4 atm isnt enough

Could also tier the upgrades and can only grad so much per lv

like 3rd to 1st civ can bot upgrade
3rd baron-1st baron one blacksmith research spot
3rd viscount- 1st visc two blacksmith reseach spot
so one add one research slot

Also allow say 30-40lvs per research as stated in 1st post

and allow the last 5-10lvs and have high end units cost coins to research

also with newer and better units there food consuption ahould go by a perchancenge

and a max avaible lv per title not player lv and give so many research point per lv and have a max avaible by with coins say 1/2 of research points allowed per title this way a player has to deside on what he would like to run with rather then fielding a mac army by lv10 this way higher players can have larger scale combat that takes patienches rather then click hol hold hold forwed

Also side note if you upgrade into heavyer armot the troops will have less overload cap do to the heaveir gear and maybay have under the training idea inprove strength to allow them to wear and carry the better equiment and allow for more carrying cap

I agree that new troop types should be added. I do like the armor/weapon upgrade idea, however it will once again get to the point where everyone has the same upgrades (although the beginning would be quite fun). One possibilty is to treat it like the skills, each level will give you points that you can put into a various upgrade. Not sure if that is a good idea, but it is an idea.

Like I said allow so many upgrade points and in that way each person will have differt troops

One problem, when you command will you see each individual type of troops or will it look the same and only you know what type of each troops you have?
