I have seen this done in multiple forums: Maybe a quick msg chat box so people can chat on forums if they dont have access to an iphone/ipod. This can also be used as a way to draw more people to the forums.

even though suggested before is a good idea but then no one would use the acctualy forum forum they would just go straight to the chat box

i think its a good idea juist dont think it would work for the ipod and iphone
