Ensuring combat and protection

This loophole about sending your army out to hunt so you can avoid combat and prestige losses needs to be fixed. I suggest loosing .001-.010 prestige for every resource lost to a raid. going up by .001 or maybe .0005 per general rank. This will ensure people build armies and protect their holdings.

That and/or just make it so you can scout an oasis and find these GIANT hunting parties and allow for combat to take place there.

i dont really like the idea because just like 100 prestige thats nothing

losing 40000 (4k wood, iron, stone, food) = 40 presige loss. thats like losing 40 infantry. And to lose 40K you're prolly a baron or viscount which with the suggested increase it would be more in the neighborhood of 200. Which is 200 infantry or 20 cats. Very fair I think.

I don't know I've played this game for several months so I guess I'm stuck to old habits and though this is a decent suggestion I'm inclined to think this will not get anuff sopport needed to become part of the game.

How can lower player ever catch people with months in the game if armies can always remain hidden? At this point there is nothing to adequately incent people to defend their territory once they max out their buildings. You can just go out and lose your army to an NPC, build a new one for more prestige, and then hide your army on a hunt and never lose prestige. Its not fair and does nothing to create a realistic PvP based game.

Actually this idea is growing on me

Origionally (before your edit) you said you'd lose too much and incorrectly calculated losses of 1-5K. Now it's too little. If you use the 200 example and factor in the fact you can attack 5 times per day that's 1000 in prestige lost to a 2nd Viscount in 1 day. Enough to get your attention for sure and yet recoverable in 2-3 days with moderate activity.

Once your resources are gone you can lose no more even to additional attacks from their alliance member so being cripled is also not possible. Its a balanced solution.

Another idea to fix this hunt exploit is to give bigger prestige gains for defensive kills.

Or they could just do what I do. When someone attacks, put all resources on market at max so they won't be sold. Then cancel offers afterward.

You can't sell or transport if your being attacked -.-
