Move city changes

From what I see, move city is easily abused. People can just move right beside you, destroy your army, then move away in minutes. This gives the victim no way to fight back, and is simply unfair.

I suggest two things that should be changed:

1.It should take time to move your city. This is just logical. Its crazy to be able to move your city in an instant. This time should be based on how far away that point is, for longer distances it should be a long time.

2.A Certain time between move cities. Probably only a few hours. This gives the opponent a chance to fight back, which they should always have.

I see what you mean, but your only thinking of people moving cities for the point of attacking! what about the people that are being owned and farmed? I think while its moving its basically inaccessible. To either people! The resources you would get wouldn't count and no one can attack. Cause you cant really attack a moving city!

Also i think that it should cost workers to move a city. Maybe depending on your lvl??? Right now moving the city is kind of unrealistic??? I mean it should take some resources and workers even gold to move your city not just coins! Maybe not even coins. Lets say a lvl 10 moves a city 1 hour "foot soldier" away! it should cost him lets say 60min x 1,000 gold per min (because of lvl)! Same applies to resources. It should cost 10k of each resource too! Because you have to pay the workers to help move a city! They're not slaves are they?!?!

What i'm getting at here is it needs to be improved! Carefully and with great consideration of the implications a change like this could have

Re: Move city changes

If they are being farmed then they could use their coins for refuse war instead.

Re: Move city changes

Well idk if the workers are slaves persay, I like to use the medieval term of serfs. Resources and in game money don't make real money, coins do

Re: Move city changes

Keep the city move as instant so you don't run into issues of people trying to get away from being farmed. This also avoids the issue of not being able to attack them while moving etc. I propose that a time period is put in place where they are unable to attack out of that city after they move. Maybe a 24 hour period to give their new neighbors the chance to notice them.

An additional suggestion would be to send a letter to any city within a certain distance of the new move to alert them of their new neighbor.

To me, the city move is far to easy to abuse. It gives a tremendous amount of power to people willing to spend a lot of money on coins for an easy advantage. Obviously, the developers want to make money and I can't fault them for that, but it makes the playing field uneven.

Which is why people buy coins, to give then an advantage. Otherwise there'd be no point.

Re: Move city changes

Then make a server where all the people who want to throw money at the game can play with each other. The point of this game is to be a community of people using STRATEGY. When the cards are stacked against you because someone is willing to spend money it is not fun anymore. I'm not against people using money to gain leverage and advantage but there needs to be checks and balances so it doesn't get out of hand.
