New Tech - Canabalism

Alright. We've all starved our troops at some point, if you haven't yet, you will. If you actually went your entire career without starving? Kudos

I think a new starve related tech should be implemented, now please don't judge this solely on the name, I'm sure someone can come up with a.. Softer way to say it. But here's how it would work

When crop reaches 0, normally you starve. But with this Tech, instead of starving at 0 crop, your troops instead consume the Civilian supply for a short time. For the sake of argument, Level 6 Tech allows 12 civilians to amount to 800 crop. So 120 civilians would be 8000 crop. So when you hit 0, instead of starving your troops would consume Civies at that rate until you hit 0 Civilians. THEN you starve! Now I know that the level ratio is a bit off, but I'm only trying to get the concept across. I admit, it SOUNDS a little grim and dark, but I really think that would be a useful tech, especially if Alliances could purchase it.

Though I admit this suggestion made me chuckle, I can't see it being implemented without a completely different name, as most people will be very disturbed. Heck, it might even bring the games age rating up a bit :/

The games age rating is 4+... But with all the langauge it should be 13 or 18 + :/

I dont think this will be implemented, but you will technically never reach 0 crop consumption because a lvl 20 main produces 639 people per hour....

I agree the starving system needs to be edited, but this isn't the answer as some people use starving as a way to build troops for prestige and then suicide them through starving, rather than having to kill them off on forts and oasis.

If this idea was used this technique couldn't be used and it would annoy some people
people spend their lives searching for the meaning of life, and fail to find it.

I know what their mistake is. There is not one but two meanings of life:

Haypi and elder scrolls
