Just keep waiting - a response is bound to come.

A simple chat box addition would be great - despite the spammers - I think the filter would come in play since we know the words which will change...not really a fuss =]

yep you just wish that the filter would change naughty words into funny ones on server
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

One thing I think this will do is make it so not as many people post for help.

They come on ask for help on forum chat and go. And don't post.

Meaning...Most likely A Lot lest posts and topics...

hmm yes less of the smaller post and only big topics running on the forums board i think will be the result

yes forums are for big topics that need to gather a wide range of opinions. opinions being the key word along with discussion
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?
