Idk about this. I dont like it much. When someone scouts you and finds city names it will make it hard on them. I have stolen 5 level 20 crops city that would help me if I changed the name but I don't find that as being "fair"

I'm thinking 50 coins or 100,000 to 250,000 money. That way, if a person steals your city they will have to at least show a little more effort than they would like.

Another option that I just thought of XD: How about the cost of a name change has to do with how many coins have been invested into it, by upgrading any resource past lvl 15... Maybe each 10 coins deposited into the city to upgrade past level 15 will add a 2 coin cost to the cities name change, or 5,000 cash per 10 coins invested. So if a city is stolen (or the owner just wants to change the name of it) with 4 lvl 16 crop resources it would cost 8 coins or 20,000 money to change :) as a branch city gets more and more coins invested it costs more and more to change the name... It's just an idea that I thought of in 10 minutes ;) so don't mock me lol

1- It would be hidden anyways :P and that's way too much, people were argueing over 50,000 lol!
2- Hmmm, then again, it's at the players own risk to use money they spent on something they know, may be stolen. We have to look at both sides here. I understand some people would be annoyed if they lost a city with level 20 iron and crop, i'd be very annoyed, yet again, it's my fault for using coins on a branch city, when i'm 100% aware it can be stolen at any point.

I don't think this would be good at all. It's so much more fun going after all 20, or even 20 crop cities with a certain name. Changing the name would just make all the "legendary" cities lost. And it is very easy to find the cities of a certain name, because not that many people take a city and give it to their alt (unless its bad). So you can just searcha top players city and most of the time, an amazing city that you recognize will be there. Also if for some dumb reason they did incorporate this, it should cost more to change the name, the more coined it is, a good city is worth 3600 coins, should cost at least 300 to hide that.

Re: Re-name a sub-city

maybe the cost to change the name of the city, goes up every time you change its name?

Re: Re-name a sub-city

I reckon it should defiantly not be more than 20 coins! Really, u could just warp it away and they would not be able to find it again!!

Re: Re-name a sub-city

99% of the time, when an alliance is involved, it is found. thats why the cost to change name should go up like, 10 coins each time you change a cities name.

I love the idea but I think the names are important so we can take our city back I'f it was stolen so I say we should have the ability to change names but at a high expense

Love the idea, got an old alliance name for a branch city on s1, that i really wanna change.

I say you use coins to change it, not money.
