Everyone with that much negative crop upkeep already has upgraded crop, along with crop oasis.

True. But this is not only an effect to help players, but for some extra income for haypi. At the very least, make the warehouse upgrades for crops only.
I can see how eventually people will get more and more troops and such, but with almost 4 times the space...
You have a total of 7 cities once you hit level 19.
Each city would have a maximum of 1,565,300 roughly almost x4 amount of space it is currently.
Right now, Player A, who has a total of 5 branch cities and 1 main, giving him a total 6 cities, has:
-100,000 Infantry
-25,000 Calvary
-25,000 Archers
-100,000 Catapults
Giving him a total of -1,250,000 negative crop upkeep. Lets say he split all of those evenly between his cities evenly.
...that's still -208,333. Of course. That's not including crop production for each city and also oasis.
Lets say you get a max of 50k+ upkeep for one city, and the rest are around 20k+ (Just throwing around very generous numbers)
Which would be about +150,000 crop upkeep. Lets make it +200,000 anyways.
If you take -1,250,000 and you subtract the total crop production you get from your cities already...thats still -1,050,000 total crop upkeep.
Now, divide 1,050,000 by 6 because you can't keep them all in one city....that gives you -175,000 each city.
With the total crop you can hold at 449,300 it would take approximately 154 minutes give or take a couple tenths of a second, to starve your whole army.
Let's say you multiply your army by 4 times if this change goes through:
That's roughly -714,285 each hour. Which it would take approximately 134 minutes and 20 something seconds. Yeah. Not much better, but when you multiply it by 4 times...that's a lot. By then, there will be some change hopefully. Negative 5 million crop output would be crazy with only 449k per city warehouse...lol.
If you had x4 the army that you had up there, giving you 5 million negative crop upkeep...it would be 37 minutes and 40 odd seconds before you starve yourself.
Well let's face it. This game is growing. People are gaining so much prestige daily...and building their armies up. Like any other mmo, it needs updates. Eventually, people will need a bigger warehouse.
Now...that's a lot of nuts right there lol. But just think...most of these players who will/have this amount of troops always play this game...Yes? Like it their lives revolve around this game...which...is quite sad...but we all have our things and hobbies, so who is any of us to judge.
Anyways, the way I see it is:
-Either stop growing your army if your a casual player in this game, once you reach ridiculous negative crop output
-Stop playing entirely if you wish to get any better/higher in the rankings
-Set up an alarm every time you finish playing, only to be back playing within another hour and a half
-Go through with this change. Not only will it help everyone, but it will provide haypi with money...
Also, this might also have to change the cranny too.
