That's what I thought, I've gotten a notification and saw the battle was over 3 hours ago... I originally thought he hidden attacked me and them attacked again and it wasn't hidden so he called back

But buggy notifications makes more sense

I don't really want that. I starved troops while I was online once. Whoops. And just set ur own timer.

Managing your armies is a huge part of the game. Now if we were to have notifications or timers built in game to help us keep from starving, in my personal opinion, it'd make the game ehh...
You can do all of this on your own time so that's how it should be kept. However this is not even that important to have. Before adding new things, even more important things, I would much rather have bugs and issues ironed out before adding content. It takes a long time to add such a small thing as a timer into the game so why not use that time for more important things?
