Interactive Hunting
I was thinking of possibly adding a hunting mini-game where once troops are sent to hunt there Is the option of "commanding" a little game that could possibly reap small rewards that would go on top of the harvest. It would be 1 attempt and possible chance to get extra gold or what-not. It would involve the troops to select a pathway or general area inside the oasis where they would hunt for goods. There will many paths/choices and a somewhat trail of goodies that you can possibly follow. So basically with each correct path taken you get another chance to select the next right path. Every step the goods get better and better but the odds get harder after each correct selection.
I'm still thinking of how to refine this idea, but I just wanted to give a general idea of what I'm thinking of :p -Pat
