Pruning - Automatic Deletion of Topics

I think Haypi should do something like this for off-topic:
My Mind wrote:This area of the forum is a waste of space, but I see its value as a place for people to post all the rubbish that they like to do, without inflicting upon those who like to use the forum for serious business.

So 'Off-Topic' has to stay, but it will be pruned.

Any topics that are not replied to within a week or so will be deleted automatically. This does not happen anywhere else in the forum because that content is useful - even 6 months down the line. Here, however, topics die out quickly and simply clog up the database

They don't get pruned anymore. I had the forums set to prune topics that hadn't had a reply in over a month or even a view and I get yelled at for it.

Re: Pruning - Automatic Deletion of Topics

I think we can hold the posts without any problem and we should learn the lesson from past which lead us to lose many valuable posts as well.

Moved to suggestion and this thread should be locked.
