Alert when you are close to running out of food!

Here is a not often needed but critical when you do feature- alert someone when they are running low on crops!

I just lost several hundred cats because of this. Farking sucks.

I do agree though, it's never happened to me but it's terrible when crop runs out.

I've personally seen a few alliance members majorly discouraged due to running out of crops because oasis's were taken. If it drops below 10% max warehouse you should be notified.

Yeah, crop is a way to limit your troop size or be on the game all the time (very exhausting). Sux majorly. However, it plays a vital role in strategy (eh, starvation).
Some will toil endlessly. Others will fail miserably. We know an alternative.

Re: Alert when you are close to running out of food!

hm... in most cases it isnt very useful if someone wants to starve u
Example
enchance, lvl 10 tech 7 lvl 9 Oases, 2000+ crop income lvl 10 cranny
lvl 10 break cranny

1. Attack turrets/traps wiped out 50 k crops left. (notification?)
2. take away 5 oasis. (5*3*3700)--> 77700
3. -75700 crop....
4. --> 40 min left till starvation....
But if it goes down cause u forgot to take an oasis its good

I hear you that it can be a part of an enemy's strategy. Haypi is certainly not real life, but it is unrealistic to think a large army is just going to keel over and die without a whimper all at once, especially when you have plenty of money to go buy some crops if necessary.

This is just one of those small things that ruins the immersion in the game.

then like a npc trader for crops who will buy crops when u arent on and it drops below 50k.... but then...
lets say 0,03 per crop.
70 k money

449300-50000--> around 400000
400000*0,03= 12000
70000/12000 = 6 attacks till u got no money anymore

Well, I don't necessarily think that every second of our time is the same for Haypi. Even though, like traveling/dispatching/etc, it's our time, but to me, it feels like it's a much longer time in game. Like time is passing by faster. So when you run out, well, you lose all your troops.

Or

Like any other game, if you run out of something, example, mana, you can't cast spells anymore.

Interesting idea, but what about the people who have millions, to tens of millions of money?

1. I doubt it takes 12-14 hours to train 2400 infantry so obviously immersion isn't there.
2. Since time is sped up obviously so will starvation
3. Starvation forces people to be on the game more and invest money into coins to upgrade buildings

1. Do the math

22 seconds * 2000 infantry /60 (for minutes) / 60 (for hours)

= 12 hours and 12 minutes about

2. I was just speculating, because the unit of distance of squares seems to be to easy for infantry to get there in 30 seconds and less per square in real time...so it is a different type of measurement of time, just converted into ours.

3. Right on.
