Custom Equipment

I have level 15 armor, level 15 sword, level 15 horse, level 15 manual, and level 10 ring. This gives me a bonus factor of 45 in each attribute, excluding fortune which is a bonus of 10.

I think it would be nice to pay an additional sum of money, (money, NOT haypi coins), to increasing the level of a skill when wearing that equipment. Example: Paying 100k money to give a ring a +1 Heal... So the ring would give a fortune bonus AND increase your Heal Skill.
And as the seige ended, and the city left aflame, a survivor asked using his last breath, "What is your name?", of the General in Armour of Black...
"I am Lord Rhanock... King of Numo-Ravi."

Re: Custom Equipment

Hmm your idea actually helps me to come up with another idea. How about we add a new aspect to Haypi similiar to most MMORPG's where items gained from hunt can have certain aspects to it like you were saying. Armor with +1 Heal or +2 attack. This is something that can help breathe new life to the market and adds another element to the game. Item hunting is a very fun part of any MMO

I think that in unison both concepts show potential.. But id rather have both to be honest, you have an excellent idea

Thanks :) I will say though for your idea to prevent abuse there has to be a limit to the amount of points that can be purchased to be added to an item. Once high level I usually carry 200-300k regulary for crops etc so some type of abuse measure has to be placed

Re: Custom Equipment

I already have a solution for that, augment slots.

Items can only be Augmented like this a maximum of 3 times... choose wisely!

Diablo 2 FTW!!!! lol. Yea that can work too. Hm I actually really like this concept a lot lol!!! Now imagine rare hunts to have extra augment slots or specific items with better stats!

Re: Custom Equipment

Should be like ragnarok online, they have blacksmiths that can turn your weapon into higher +'s. Chance to break if high leveled. And has 3 enhancement slots

Re: Custom Equipment

Its part of the risk. Imagine a +9 lvl 15 manual breaking on you on the last upgrade, it also has the most expensive enhancements.. That's calming
