the ability to choose how far your troops go

When I had much lower speed, I could take out a lvl 9 fort without losing anything (except for inf in the traps). Now that I have maxed out my speed, my cats get in range of the turrets before they take them out, killing a bunch of my cats. I feel like having higher speed shouldn't be a disadvantage, so I propose the ability when commanding a type of troop to choose the distance they advance between 0 and their max distance. Maybe you could use a slide with a text box, like you have in the market.

This is similar to a suggestion from a week or two ago allowing you to give "standing orders" to your troops so they don't just go off on a death march all the time.

Actually its totally different and I agree with him. Having max speed sometimes is a hinderance because they go really far. He is talking about spaces moved

I was just thinking about that same hinderance today during a battle. Lol

Lol right I swear those cats get into range of both turrets! Controlling spaces moved would change elements sooo much

Tis why I'm not maxing my marching tech until I start having a Cav army.
But yeah, it would be really helpful to be able to choose.

If you dont march out your marching tech though you wont have first strike in a pvp situation

Sorry Uter, but I must disagree.
When you max out a stat/put points into a stat, you get something. You get the good, and the bad.
Example:
Maxing out fortune first. You just maxed out fortune, but have no other points into anything else. Sure, you can own people if RNG is in your favor (Random Number Generator, AKA CHANCE/GOD's FAVOR UPON YOU) but, someone with just enough speed to beat you, and maxed Attack, would basically own you.
Another more pertinent example would be speed. You maxed out speed first. What comes with maxed speed?
-First to attack (Usually)
-Faster troop marching around the world
-More distance covered in less time in battle
I mean yeah. But you're also at a disadvantage. Sure you can attack first, but someone who maxed out defense or split between defense and attack would have a better chance against you than someone with lots of fortune or someone who was slightly slower than you in speed.
So...knowing now that you purposely, or maybe not purposely chose the stats you put in, you must live with the consequences.
Just because you get first attack and move across the map at nice speeds, doesn't mean you shouldn't suffer some negative affect or as you put it "to be punished" because you maxed out a stat.
That was your decision to do that. If you don't like it respec (Spend coins to reset attribute points) or live with it.
Now this is a story all about how YOUR life got flipped, turned upside down, and I'd like a minute so, sit and be merry, I'll tell you how I became the Mother F***ing Gary.

That's not true, especially on S6. No one seems to work on their techs and the people that do don't know what they're doing with their stats. S6 is prestige heaven, no one hides their troops.
