Since were all talking about adding a new unit.
I wanna see what all of you have to say on the commanding section.
I want more control over my field if I want my archers to attack the inf i think that they should move in line with inf.
also I want to be able to move side to side and diagonal.
Anyone ever play Heros Of Might And Magic.
I always loved the commanding on that and maybe it could be a step in the right direction to improve the commanding.

Maybe, but you have to remember being able to move diagonal would make commanding way more confusing, hard for the new players, who find it hard enough to command as it is right now.

Moving side to side seems the same as waiting :P as for moving arch with the inf, that's based on speed, and will never happen

no i mean like this is norm commanding
I C A C

I C A C

it would now with the archers moving in line or any unit could change to any variation of

ACCI
CIAC
stuff like that depending on the unit your aiming at

also another is letting us control how far we want them to move.
but it cant be past their max range.

Simply uneeded...
controlling how far they move would make the game way too unbalanced for people with higher shooting

I dont think you fully understand the term necroposting...

Necroposting is bringing back a thread that hasnt been posted on for months, and hasnt any more relevance.

Some people may like your thread and your suggestion about commanding, so i would suggest you not to say "dont post here"

Necroposting doesn't really matter on suggestions because if someone supports a suggestion they can post on it and have it more viewable for others to look at
same with bug report if someone has the same problem as someone else from many months ago (doubt it...)
