Fix the bugs already
I'd put this in the bug report forum but it's obvious you guy's just ignore that forum.
I've installed over 400 apps from the app store, about 70% of those are games. Folders was the best feature Apple ever added to iOS!
In the last 3 years across all those apps combined:
* Roughly 20 crashes taking me back to the springboard
* Maybe 4 iphone crashes causing a reboot
...in 3 whole years. And the app developers quickly had new releases out that fully solved the problem.
In a single month, and every month, playing HK:
* App crashes roughly once every 35 mins, so I'd estimate about around 25+ times a month it crashes
* At least 2 crashes causing device reboot per month
So in one month this game crashes back to springboard more than 400+ other apps combined have in the past 3 years. And in 2 months it reboots the iPhone as many times as 400+ other apps have in the past 3 years.
Let me scale those crashes up to 3 years so you can see the true horror:
* At least 900 crashes to springboard over a 3 year period
* At least 72 device reboot crashes over a 3 year period
Let's compare that to the combined crashes for 400+ other apps I have installed:
* Maybe 20 crashes taking me back to the springboard
* Maybe 4 iphone crashes causing a reboot
Are you seeing the scale of the problem?
This is a *crazy* level of crashes. It's as if there is zero QA in this game. Or maybe you have a special team of people who are employed specifically to make the game crash a lot? You've got some major memory leak issues in this game, on top of the uncaught exceptions. And you don't seem to be doing anything about them. (And yes, I'm on latest version of game and iOS)
Seriously, hire in some proper *iPhone* coders that know how to write reliable *iPhone* apps and get the bugs fixed already.
Completely 100% free games don't have this many bugs. Big complex games don't have this many bugs. Apps written by single developers in their free time don't have this many bugs. All the other apps I've downloaded over the past 3 years don't have this many bugs combined!
And with almost every other app in the app store there are regular updates. But with HK updates are few and far between and do little to address the seemingly vast array of crash bugs.
And if you can't be bothered to sort the quality of the app and stop it crashing, yet alone add new features, then at least make coins significantly cheaper (like quarter of the price, probably even less). Ironically, you'd probably make far more money due to significantly more people buying coins!
The fact that you now charge for this app, then charge coins on top to make it playable (how else do you successfully attack a city without it's troops dodging?) is a joke, especially given the poor quality of the game. And stop calling it a "free mmog" (eg. see graphic in forum title at top of this page) - it's not remotely free, certainly not now you're even charging for the app, yet alone the crazy cost of coins.
I realise games like this are essentially a "sick system" designed to cause frustration in order to prevent people quitting (and hence keep them paying over long periods of time), but this is taking things too far by a country mile.
Rarrrghhh!
