Market

Now that the market on Server 3 is collapsing...

If you add a quantity filter to the market, it may help the prices rise again. What I'm seeing is that bulk sales are driving down the prices overall. They list first because they are cheapest.

By adding a filter where the buyer can choose quantity ranges, it may shore up the smaller bundles of resources.

100k of wood at .12 cents will take a long time to sell, but a 1k bundle at .30 will move much faster if the buyer can find it. Most won't page through several listings to find the amount they want, and the new players are more likely to buy the smaller bundles, should make it easier for them.

FIlter suggested amounts:
1-5k
5-10k
10-50k
50k+

Thanks

Re: Market

Thats looks good, but its normal that prices drop, its the competition among players. Furthermore, new players are coming
in, means more resources up in the market. Its called the trade monopoly.

Re: Market

yep, eventually you'll end up like server 1, where everything sells between 0.02-0.05 :D

Re: Market

Server 2 is the same way. Everything but wood is low but wood is onlyv.15. Everything use to be over 1.00. I think the minimums should be raised. Gradually raise it to 1.00.

You can also do a supply and demand system. Make it so when there are more people selling, the lower the minimum. Raise when there are less. It might still drop economy though.

Re: Market

Yeah, but smaller amounts should fetch more money, the idea of buying bulk vs. non-bulk should hold. Most new players can't afford to spend 10k in wood at once, so they're willing to pay higher prices.

Doubt it'd keep the market up for long, but it may mitigate some of the extremes.

Re: Market

I think they should add a "sell to NPC" for resources at a REALLY low price so ppl can get rid of resources if they have a lot and don't care about makin very little money from it, like 0.005 or smthg so if u sell 10k of smthg u only get 50 money but it is still smthg

Re: Market

The reason the economy is collapsing is because there is too much product/product being sold.

Short of making product scarce the real solution should be to take away you market slots so that you can only sell about 4 units at a time

that should artificially decrease availibility
