First off, i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place...

With so much talk of the server merge I was wondering if anyone has any actual news on this and possible timescale?

I have tried searching the forums but with no joy...

The first you'll know of when your server will merge is through an in-game message about 14 days before it takes place.

Just a piece of advice, enjoy the server before it merges! The community you know will never be the same.

Merges can only be seen as a good thing, I mean fresh new targets and challenges

The word "only" is a little of a stretch here. Personally, I can't stand mergers because you suddenly get farmed all the time by people you don't know, whereas on an unnerved server you hardly ever get farmed at all, and you know how powerful is (and whether you can beat) any given individual in the entire server.

I guess it has its down sides as well as up sides...

I can understand what u mean about the not knowing who everyone is but on the other hand, it gives new dimentions to the game play... not scouting the same people all the time...

I wouldnt know from experience as im still on 1st server, but i guess it all settles in time...

I know this is a little late, but I'm from s64 and we really want the merge there because the entire server is almost dead. Also, I heard it's about 3 months from now, but that's just rumor.

Merges have started up again so you probably won't have to wait very long, we of s59 have heard we are going to merge in a week
