Cropland Decreasing

I recently finished upgrading all of my croplands to lvl 10 which is 420 per hour. as well as i also have lvl 2 researched in the tech center for cropland. so that should be an extra 20%, however my cropland is decreasing its output everytime i upgrade it at this point it is down to only 735 output when it should be closer to the 1800 range.
Any suggestions?

Achadin, your troops need crop each hr to survive.
Catapults=10
infantry=1
archers=2
cavalry=4
so if u have 100 catapults and your output should be 1800, it will only be 800. 100catapults=250cavalry=500archers=1,000infantry
This i what limits the size of your army

I thought that crop production stayed the same and that your troops just decreased from your warehouse?
Like i know with an army every hour i shouldnt see a gain of 1800 in crop warehouse. However the actual production value its self is going down like in the overview screen it shows it decreasing, and i actually havnt increased my army size at all since that occured.
