Could you please kindly tell us:
a. what device you are using, including phone details
b. what is your haypi kingdom version no.

you cant save letters... i recommend taking a ss if your on an i device or copying them into notes or something similar for android and WP7 phone.

to delete them slide your finger sideways on the letters and the delete option should a ppear

Normally you have to try a couple of times for the game to recognize your "slide to right" gesture. (sometimes i have to do it 20 times)
When the gesture is regognized, a delete button will appear on the right side.
