Chat doesn't work well on Android

I'm not sure why, but it seems that the android version saves all chat for all time in the chat log. When I open the chat up I see text from the 12th still. And since the chat is so huge the phone freezes/jitters when trying to scroll to the bottom. The chat log is so huge now that I can't even make it to the bottom before chat freezes and I have to quit the app.


Edit: I'm on a Samsung Vibrant (Galaxy S) and Android 2.2

This Is cause it's new it has alot of these and they are working on fixing it but until then try to coop with it

sure i understand and I am 'coping with it'.

What it means is that i can not use chat as its not actually working at all now so i have zero contact with my alliance.

Figured out a work around!

When ever chat gets to long and starts lagging I'm going into the Android Application settings (where you uninstall apps) and clearing the app data.


Note that this also forces the app to logout in case it is bugged.

Yes that works but its a pretty poor method.

The Android version of this game is very very buggy.

Hi, my problem is that my posts get duplicatd upto 14 time. And than i had to restart my phone to get bak to world chat. Sometimes my posts gets unposted. I have talked with other android users, they are also experiencing same. Update does nt help either. I have latest update.

Same problem here. The chat is flakey at best and pm is a nightmare. My best advice is this. Before u have to do something important like command against a big fort.

close the app > Settings > Applications > kill push service < Applications > App Data > Clear Haypi Cache & and stop the app <<< Open Haypi > Pray!

Last step is the most effective imho.

BTW latest update is worse than previous. Cities never update troops while ur in them anymore. Id start a new thread but support never posts in here, better to email them directly with bugs.

I used to have this problem but one of their past updates fixed it for me now chat runs alot smoother
