slide out keyboard not working

When I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it...due to the update not found....I lost the ability to use the keyboard in chat only.....all the settings r ok...I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that did nothing....sending msgs I can use it fine...only in the chat does it not work...ideas????????

Using the Mortorola Droid 2, I can use the key board but i can not use the numbers on the key board. The chat screen does not turn sideways, to allow keyboard use, and the app forces you to use a virtual keyboard in a vertical mode.

I have heard the same thing from others....mine won't work at all....and mine won't turn the chat sideways either....I sent it to support hoping for a fix....with all the other problems with the update I'm sure this will be awhile
