It'd be really nice if during battles it updated. While fine against the npc, if you're facing a real person it's a real pain. To see what they do, you have to back out and then reenter, that takes a lot of time. A fix for this would be a great improvement.

Ok good I didn't know if this was just me or just my phone (HTC thunderbolt) but it must be a problem for others as well.
