Alliance Map Danger

A friend told me it's dangerous to make an alliance map because once it exists, others can get a copy and therefore know all of your positions and those of your fellow alliance members. Is that true? If so, how do I get a copy of some other alliance's map?

Go rogue into their alliance and make one, get a friend to betray their alliance and make one and have em give it to you. If you have more than one idevice and you have another account you could try and plant it into their alliance and make one
