Switch server button

I've been hearing a lot about this "server switch" button.

Given their history, it seems to me very unlikely that haypi would ever let us move an acct from one server to another....it would create so many imbalances that it just doesn't seem like something that haypi would introduce.....

Rather, I think this server switch button will simply offer us a chance to easily switch to our alt acct on a different server (i.e. The acct you are rewarded with at lv10) without having to reboot the app.

If you think about it....switching servers would be abused far more than say, private trading. I just can't see why haypi would open themselves up to the problems and (inevitable) flood of complaints that are sure to arise when the #1 alliance on s103 all change servers to s45

Re: Switch server button

I’ve heard a rumour that it will be a selection of new servers e.g. 200,201,202 etc that you will have the option to move to, but as I said it’s only a rumour. I dont know if it would be like starting from scratch again or anything.

Re: Switch server button

This also seems to be a more likely scenario.

I just think people are not thinking it through when they mention the feature, as their sentiments always seem to be that they will be able to move to any server so that they can be with their friends, etc.

I want people to know there are other possibilities! Thanks weecraig!

Re: Switch server button

The thing is as well, if you have an alt which almost everyone above level 10 has, (even if it is not used) I would assume that 80% at least would want the alt on the same server. ( I Understand that there are genuine players that want to go to a different server to be with their friends or want more activity from a newer server) I see people with alts causing havoc in my server, starving out alliances, and no one has a clue whose the alt is, I know a lot of people that would want alts to do the same thing.

Re: Switch server button

I concur.....and haypi has pretty much made it clear that they do not want Alts made on the same device being used in this way.

Re: Switch server button

obviously they dont, my theory is that there will be new servers to switch out to and that there will be some sort of penalty such as the reseting of the account so all people who switch start at the same point therefore switching alts out as well wojuld be additional work and cost

Re: Switch server button

I was hoping to go to a newer server with my old account. I understand why it doesn't really seem fair tho :p maybe if we payed 500 coins to move??? 

Re: Switch server button

Well I think for the 'switch server' button I think one person can only do it just the one time and no others.. And does anyone know when this button maybe working.??
