Alright. Let's try something like http://www.google.com . Seeing as that works, what I said in my last post is the problem. ^^

If someone is trying to quote a post like I did with a similar URL like the one that I quoted, they wouldn't know to put [url] and only [url=] which would make it a lot lengthier or harder ...
Such as
  Code:
[url=iamabunnyrabbit.com]iamabunnyrabbit.com[/url]

Or
  Code:
[url]iamabunnyrabbit.com[/url]

Re: ~~Guide to the Haypi Forums~~

Ok, I would include something describing that, but it's too rare a case that it would just confuse many people. I can pretty safely say that the large majority of websites that we link to on the forums will be regular addresses such as .org, .com, or .net, and in the one or two cases where they're not, anyone using the link will just have to highlight and copy + paste, or know well enough to use the [url] code already. Plenty of regulars have read this discussion, I'm sure, so they'll be fine if it comes to this.

Just another example. Although I doubt many people would be posting links to download sites

just click on it, and scroll down until you find the sub forum you would like to view.

Self explanatory, yes. Easy to see and utilize by someone unfamiliar with the layout and design of these forums? Not so much.

This is an important tool for saving time...will you add a spot about it?

Great idea, I'll write it out soon. :)

Edit 7/25/11 11:33 PM UTC:

Added a paragraph about the "Jump To" feature here, as well as BBCode for changing a post's font and edits to the Blink and Spoiler BBCodes here.
