upgrade question

I seem to be stuck on 2nd civilian.. my task sez to upgrade but cannot figure out how to do this..?

also I have a task to ask a friend..
went to general/management and Invite friends to game
which I did... friend did not get message and my task did not get completed?

you are not required to do the invite friend task. also, you may get any ha########## to refer you. as for upgrading, you need a nugget. which, you may either get by buying with 10 coins, saving up, and buying in market, or by hunting with several thousand cavs, or inf.

Thankyou.. as a Newbie I haven't quite figured out hunting yet.. I enter, I hunt, I action, I harvest, i get 0 or 1 but I enter with 4 or 5 not thousands.. I have a total of 40 or so trained.. so thousands are months away.. also don't understand why I would use trained military just to hunt.. but I guess that is the way the game goes..

Where do I find out that I need a nugget to upgrade? i didn't see it under general?

Nuggets can either be purchased in the market, under the treasure section (the red gem). Or purchased with coins, by going to the treasure tab (the button with the chest) and then selecting "buy treasure".

When you click on next task it will tell you at the bottom the requirements, along with the prestige needed it will show a picture of the treasure required x the amount needed.

if you havent clicked "get rewards" in the task, then that could also be your problem.
