There MIGHT be a feature in the future coming (switch server) that can let you switch servers, but what it does is not really known.
The easiest way to be on the same server as your friend is to make an account at the same time he does.
You could always play something like Haypi Dragon, as well.

What server are you talking about? If it is still a relatively new server there is a chance that your friend can simply try again and maybe make it onto that server.

U and ur friend play the separate servers as practice. When u hit level 10 ( very easy to do so) do the new server task at SAME time to land on same server
