With the defense, attack, and speed techs, does it only affect the left side? or the whole thing, right plus left? so with 100+45 speed, and lvl 10 tech (+ 30%), would it be 30%of 100 added to 100+45? or 30%of 145 added to 145?

It would be 20% of 145 which is 44. So 145+44=189. SO your speed would be 189

20% of 145 is 29, so 145+29=174, so the max attack and defense is 174, while max for speed is 188.5 (speed tech is 30%)

He meant 30%. It's 188 or 189 if you're rounding up.

No, The tech does not take into account of your stats and equipment. It is only 20% of the base stat.

For example, catapult have 50 speed, with level 10 marching they will give you 30% extra speed based on 50 speed, and effectively gives you +15 to the catapults' movement, this does not change whether you have 0 speed or 100 speed, the tech is based on the army base stats only.

To put it in perspective, since speed gives you 1% per stat point, so at full stats it gives you 100+45+30 = 175% extra speed.

Attack and defense work the same way, except the tech only gives a maximum of 100+45+20 = 165% extra attack or defense power.
