Expert policies.

I am very concerned about the policies Haypi use for choosing their experts. I am a member if server 28 and it appears the majority of our experts are very young, and in some cases still at school. As a result we have a WC where conversation is over policed, and over censored.
Many words in the English language. Contain words which in their own right are on the censor list. Mass, pass, assume, sextant etc. They all get te ***tant treatment! As a result, the only way to get the message across is to dodge the filter like this 'se extant'. To then be publically flamed and warned for dodging the filter and being told to use a different word is insane! Ridiculous and frankly laughable!
The word I was trying to use was 'sexist' as I was asked if the alliance I was a member of was sexist for 'liking our women on top'. This question to me was nit offensive nor used in an offensive manner. Quite often the word gender itself is not offensive. For example... What gender are you? Or have you ever tried to tell what gender a snake is? To be told off by someone WANTING to be an expert is very annoying.

I guess my argument is this. Experts should be adults. People who have experience in life and conversation. Who can better call if a conversation is heading into dangerous territory and can steer a convo away from a potential flash point rather than simply ban anything that might cause an arguement as soon as it's mentioned.
Healthy debate is good! But it takes moderators who have experience in life, conversation and debate, to control it and allow it to happen without getting out of hand.
Instead we have a WC Tjat is over censored where people are scared to chat and have a good time and is simply full of annoying spam. Prevents many decent folk chatting in WC and puts us of the game completely. Afterall... What is the point of a community based game when you can't have a community?

Re: Expert policies.

Sexist,For one is not allowed. Butterflies has been censored for a reason and if you say ***ist that is allowed. Saying Muf fin is also allowed. Expert is an honorary title not a permanent one. If you have a problem with a certain expert, contact support. This should not be publicly discussed and you should talk to support. What can I or anyone else gain for reading this topic? A reason to hate haypi? We don't want reasons to hate,we want reasons to like. Thanks.

Re: Expert policies.

Some 13 year olds such as me could be more mature than many adults.

It doesn't depend on age, maturity is the issue

Re: Expert policies.

This could solve a lot of problems, but maturity is not always equal to age. I am not opposed to experts under the age of 18, but if they are, they should be tested to see if they are mature enough to handle it. Many of the experts that end up being problems are under 18, but their have been a few great ones, and one in particular I'm thinking about when writing this.

If an expert is being power abusive, unhelpful, or you have a problem with them, email support at kingdomsupport@haypi.com
