Is there a way to trade with just one person?

I would like to make a trade to one specific person, not just sell things on the auction. Is there a way to do this or do I just have to place things on the market and hope my friends are the ones that buy it before anyone else?

Can't trade with other ppl.. They would have to sell at lowest if you want to give away something and hope the other person buys it before anyone else.
