When are chest contents determined?

Greetings denizens of Haypi Kingdom!

I have been wondering when the contents of a chest are determined. Are they determined at the creation of a chest or at the opening of a chest? If the former is the case, chests purchased at market from players with a higher fortune would produce better results. Should the latter be true, a player with high fortune could purchase a chest from market and get the same results as those from a chest found during hunt.

I don't know for sure, but I would think it's generated as you open it? Just a guess. I wonder if even support would know that?

Since it would be much easier to make it so it happens when opened, I'm sure they did it that way.

Support told me it's completely random when I asked and there was no way to tell. This I know is a lie because there's an obvious pattern to each chest for most items. Since I don't play anymore I can't remember them all but...

Level 2+ Chests can have Nuggets
Level 4+ Chests can have Nuggets & Gems
Level 6+ Chests can have Nuggets, Gems & Medals
Level 8+ Chests can have Nuggets, Gems, Medals & Scepters
Level 10+ Chests can have Nuggets, Gems, Medals, Scepters & Crowns

The amount of gold you receive also follows a pattern but I can't remember it at the moment.

the amount of gold you can get from a chest is double the NPC price.

does fortune affect what you get ?

i heard fortune helps get rarer treasure. i know what level 3 chests give (from most common to most rare)
lvl 8 ring
4k gold
lvl 4 sword
lvl 4 armor
lvl 4 horse
lvl 3 manual
lvl 9 ring
