How do you take someones city?

How do you take some ones city. One of my friends irl is a server one expert and he said that I need to attack it five times and one of my friends has to attack it five times also. Is this true or is he just retarted.

It is true, but it does not rely on number of attacks. It relies on loyalty. Every time you attack a sub city, its loyalty goes down by 10. Unfortunately though, the cities loyalty also goes up by 10 every hour. You also have a 5 attack limit on a persons cities, so you would need two people, including yourself, if you are both close, but you probably would need 3 people, it all depends on how far you are away from the sub

you can attack 5 times, wait till 0:0 gst and attack another 5 times, or you can get someone to attack with you.
