Being attacked in the 7 day period

its not just a straight 7 days of protection. . .getting to 3rd baron(level 4) cancels your protection period early.

Yes the rule states that, it's either the 7 day period or the 3rd Baron. which ever comes first. So if you get to the 3rd Baron before the 7 day protection period, then you will automatically get off the protection. If you played for 7 days over and still not in 3rd Baron, you will still get off the protection period.
