crop numbers is going down

My crop numbers are red and show to be going negative, why is it doing that?

Your troops consumptions is high. The more troops you have the higher it will be.. You can reduce it by upgrading your croplands, your planting tech, and by occupying crop oases. Negative crop is normal for big armies, just have enough crops in your warehouse to feed them and they won't starve.

Infantry consume 1 crop per hour.
Cavalry - 4
Archer - 2
Catapults - 10.

This PER troop PER hour.

Be sure to upgrade your crops enough to cope with army consumption.
Also study Planting tech, use enhance with coins if you have them and occupy crop oases to alleviate any extra strain on your output.

Keep a close eye on your crop levels as if they drop to zero, your troops will begin starving until it breaks even.
