Fail whale tank etc.

Are fail whales and tanks instant mutes? What about guns? Guns seem even more innapropriate cause they say "die or cuss words at the beginning". I don't think experts have seen It though.

I've only seen the gun once, but as far as I know, only some experts insta-mute not all.
