Troops Die During Dispatch?

Hey I wanted to ask if anyone knows if troops being dispatched are lost if the sub they are coming from is captured? (A few people asked me and I couldn't give them an accurate answer)

Re: Troops Die During Dispatch?

If the troops are hunting or dispatched and they are still in the action when the city is captured expect them to die. This happened to a player in PvP and cost them the #1 Rank

Re: Troops Die During Dispatch?

They disappear never to return if the city they belong to is taken whether the troops are hunting, in oasis, in fort, or on dispatch. If starved they merely return home. If troops starve while on dispatch, they do NOT go through. If the oasis they are hunting in is jacked, they merely return home as well. I have had each of these occur to either me or a person in my alliance. I have seen a starve during a commanded attack and the attack finished before the starving occurred. This, had I been wiser at the time, I wonder now if i could have bought crops during the attack and prevented the starve. I didn't gain crops from that specific attack bc the person had a high cranny.
I am curious though...if troops starve before hitting a target (aka an attack on say a fort), do they return home. I'm guessing they do since they return home during dispatch if starved. :)

I've heard this from a lot of people. I tested it and had a non-alliance member capture the unowned oasis I was hunting in and nothing happened. My hunt continued. Things i didnt test were if i, or an alliance member, had control of the oasis being hunted in and then it was captured or if my troops were in dispatch to hunt and then the oasis was taken.

Re: Troops Die During Dispatch?

Well, my answer is.....

That if you are saying when you are trying to occupy or stuff like that, there are traps everywhere when you attack a city, (if they built some). If not I don't know the answer. Maybe it's a bug or somthing otherwise it's traps the people are building at their cities. If it's hunting they probably get captured and the sever system brings them back to you main city or sub city. I wonder if this was answered yet...
