Cranny Question?

Concerning the amount of resources a cranny can protect from an opponent with a high level of break cranny skill... When you upgrade your cranny, does it simply increase the amount of resources potentially protected.... or does it also decrease the chances of the cranny being broken?

As an afterthought, typically what level of cranny break skill is required to mine an opponents resources?

Re: Cranny Question?

Well the more you in lcrease your cranny lvl: the more resources it can hold: less resources will get stolen.

And to your second question, it all depends on your break cranny and their crannys lvl.

Re: Cranny Question?

Just as a note, if you have a larger amount of one resources in your cranny, it will be "creamed off" and the attacker won't get any of the others. So if you have less use for stone, make sure you keep lots of stone in your city. So then when you are farmed the attacker will get 0 wood, lots of stone, 0 iron,0 crop
If you are going to be away for some time and want to protect your resources, put them on the market at a very high price. :)

Re: Cranny Question?

Thanks for the information. However, I'm still seeking a definitive answer to "Does upgrading your cranny reduce the likelihood of it being broken".

I have a firm grasp on the fact that upgrading the cranny increases the amount of resources protected.

Re: Cranny Question?

When you upgrade your cranny, all it does is increase the amount of resources protected. It doesn't do anything to fight against break cranny skill. A few quick examples might help. Assume you have a fully upgraded cranny at lvl 20. It will protect 100k of each resource. So lets assume you have that fully upgraded cranny and exactly 100k of each resource and you are attacked by a player who has 0 skill in break cranny. They will get 0 resources. Now, same scenerio but the attacker has lvl 1 break cranny skill. The result will be that the attacker takes 5,000 of each resource (assuming they attack with enough troops to carry that much away).

For each break cranny skill level they have, they will be able to dip into your cranny at 5% multiplied times that level. So at highest break cranny skill level of 10 they can get into 50% of your cranny (10 x 5% = 50%). These amounts are definite. They have nothing to do with luck or chance.

Just as an additional note, any resources above 100k in your warehouse are in no way protected by your cranny ever and can be taken by any attacker who wins a fight (whether they have break cranny skill or not).

Also, spacebee has a good point. When someone attacks you and wins, they get whatever resource is most plentiful in your warehouse. So here is another scenerio, assume you have the following resources in your warehouse:

Wood - 150k
Stone - 250k
Iron - 125k
Crop - 100k

If someone attacks you and wins with enough troops to carry off 100k worth of resources, they will get 100k stone which will reduce your stone to 150k.

Now if someone attacks and wins with enough troops to carry off 150k worth of resources, they will get 125k of stone and 25k of wood. That will reduce stone and wood levels to 125k each which will match iron level.

Again, if someone attacks and wins with enough troops to carry off 225k worth of resources, they will get 150k stone, 50k wood, and 25k iron. That will reduce everything to 100k.

So yeah, winners get whatever resources are most abundant.

Re: Cranny Question?

Chris pretty much said it all.

So in sumary, each lvl in cranny will cut off an incresing amount of resources (up to 100k each at L20) from attackers who don't have the Break Cranny skill.

Breack Cranny will allow that player to tap into a % of your protected resources in addition to raiding your unprotected resources per normal. There are no elements of chance in regards to these two game features.

Makes sense?

Makes perfect sense. Thanks for the time and consideration.
