expert bashing: a mod definition

Could a mod or admin really define expert bashing? i believe it is when a player bashes an experts ability as an expert or desservig expert not if a player says your a noob your a low level your weak etc... bc then thats raising them to a level above the average player who can get told their a noob. i dont know if this is even abused at all and it may seem stupid or dumb but watching obelisk hess very good at controlling whose abusing expert and whoose not!!!!! so please give feedback players and mods and the forum vips

i believe expert bashing is when a player is being rude and offensive to an expert an is considered an instant mute. but thats my opinion :)

Re: expert bashing: a mod definition

Bashing is bashing expert or otherwise.
Being offensive or rude to other players is unacceptable. Doing so will incur warnings and finally mute.
This includes but is not limited to name-calling, spreading false rumors, repeating things said in private etc etc.

Relating to what most call 'expert bashing' is trolling experts in world chat regarding their mutes/warnings and rules enforced.
Any issues regarding experts should be taken straight to support with screenshots/details and not voiced in WC.

Exactly what Adina said bashing is bashing. Also if you have a problem with a particular expert please discuss it in PM. Also if you feel an expert is abusing their powers take screenshots and post on the Report Expert Forum in Expert Nominations and also send the screen shot to kingdomsupport@haypi.com

Adina:

Could this example of bashing be put into the forum/game rules as an example of what is not okay?
For server 8 we seem to have an issue between the experts and their interpretation of the rules. Some experts deem it okay to name-call, while others find it very offensive. This is becoming a confusing ordeal to many players, because they become muted for things they were told were okay beforehand by a different expert.

I think all experts in server 8 are doing their best, but there is a lot of bashing according to your definition in our World Chat.

Re: expert bashing: a mod definition

I am personally working on a global letter to be sent to all players on all servers that will detail the 'rules' players are expected to adhere to that they may or may not have read via the forums.

Naturally, what I write will have to be ok'd and likely tweaked by the higher ups but it's my hope that doing so - and doing it SOON will limit the need for repetitive explanations from experts, and riots caused by players pushing the boundaries in general.

Experts differ on all servers and this is what makes it extremely important that the general players of haypi maintain contact with support where necessary.
Nothing can ever be done when an issue is not voiced :)
