Hi everybody. Forgive me if this has already been covered, but I didn't see it anywhere. I have a few more days before my first week protection runs out and was wondering what you more experienced players would suggest I try to have accomplished during this time. I bought some coins and don't mind using them, I just want to get the most out of them and my time during this period. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Well. I hope I can help.
You definitely want to try to increase your resource output by as much as you can. You also might want to try placing turrets and traps out and upgrading them. You could also train up some troops if you'd like. Or just upgrade your buildings. ORR upgrade your tech. I'm still on my protection week and I'm doing all these things as well.

Build an army. Get as many catapults as possible and then take oases for resources to upgrade your city. Thats probably the best way to go. Also you can get easy prestige from your lower lvl neighbor with a large army. One more thing upgrade your warehouse and main building to high lvls.

Any suggestions on what level my buildings, resources, etc. should be after the first week?

Resources 10. Main, barracks, cranny, warehouse should be 12. If you use your coins, main should be 15, warehouse, cranny and barracks 14 resources 10. Don't waste your coins on the resources until you upgrade them to lvl 16. It costs 10 coins each then.

Ehh I actually would get Warehouse, Main Building and Cranny as high as possible, with every 3 levels you get them upgrade all resources 1. That will let you have an easier time upgrading quickly if you have more citizens. The cranny and resources will hold/protect more then enough resources, so you won't be hurt too bad if your attacked.

Another fun trick is go under protection and then leave your army out. Its always fun to bait people to move city and waste their coins lol

For the first week I wouldn't use the coins, unless you have tons of money to spend and don't mind using a lot of money. If you only wanna buy a few or so then wait til you have a better main city. By end of first week, you should have max cranny, warehouse, main house, and at least lvl 10 in all resources (wouldn't worry about stone as much). You could either use coins for upgrading crops or just use coins to increase crop output.
To prevent higher levels from farming/attacking you, try to have max cranny, keep your army on hunt, and try and keep your resources down as much as possible.
