Contribution points

This may be common knowledge, but I was wondering if there was any way to reset your contribution points if your a leader? I realise that a lot of players focus their attention on map play, however there are still a substantial amount that enjoy battling the mines, and contributing to gain honour, and subsequently the medals. I know there are a lot of players and alliances that will leave the alliance once they have gained their level 5, allowing other members to move up the contribution rankings. On my current server s133, my leader has recently gained his level 5 medal and would like to be able to either transfer temporary leadership so he may leave, rejoin and be reinstated as leader, or if its a possibility for support to reset his contribution points (as long as he can prove he his the true owner of the account). Have any other mine players or alliance leaders got any suggestions?

Have to get lucky enough to get support to respond and understand the situation... Usually one of those two isn't the case
