Urgent! Being dupped by hacked coins.

There is a website that sells in game currency of many games. They claim that they are 100% legit, and the site seems very impressive.
It became a popular way to purchase coins, and haypi has never written about it telling players that its ilegal. Several months ago i actually pointed the site out to support asking them if its legit. Not only did i not recieve an answer, its been running for months without hinderence, or notice from haypi about it being ilegal.

Many many players have bought coins via this site. and a few days ago haypi wrote letters to all saying that if they dont pay for the coins that were bought via the website they will be banned within 72 hours.

Now all these players were dupped into buying "legit" coins..... They would never have bought (at least many of them wouldn't have) these coins if they would have known that they are not legit. and now they are being threatened with a ban. HAYPI has not even sent out a letter saying that its ilegal yet! They know about this problem, but they are allowing customers to fall into the trap!

I think that HAYPIi must come to there senses. Most players cannot afford to pay within a few days several 100 usd. Particullary after having already paid the scammer that money too......

What should haypi do?

1) If the coins have not been spent, take em back, and warn the players to buy just directly via HAYPI. Dont make players pay for something they can't, after they were dupped just like you..............if they havn't spent it, then take it back!

2) If they have spent the coins, I think HAYPI would be clever to ask for a one off payment, EG 25 usd from any player who purchassed these coins. Something that players can and will pay. Haypi will get a decent income, and keep hundereds of satisfeid customers, who will continue buying at the level they can afford.

3) If haypi bans all these players. they surely realize that they will lose hundreds of other costomers too........if an alliance leader is banned and the alliance disbands, many player drop outa the game..............If pepole lose there friends etc.............thousands will drop out! I beleive coming to a fair and ballanced resolution, showing that you care for the customer, particullary as he was scammed as much as you, you will gain much admiration as a pose to resent!

lol surely at some point when a third party offered to give you discounted coins alarm bells rang in your head.

Truth be told, it is part of an agreement that we all signed which forbids us to buy these coins. Know what you agree to when you sign off on terms of service and you won't run into these problems.

Section in the user agreement:

A. exploit the Game or any of its parts, including without limitation the Service, for any commercial purpose, including without limitation (a) for gathering in-game currency, items or resources for sale outside the Game; or (b) performing in-game services in exchange for payment outside the Game;

This method of buying hacked coins illegally is very popular on my server, I myself, and my alliaince are almost the only group of players that refuse to cheat and have never used any such method, hence, none of us received these letters, copies have been passed around however so I have seen the letters and know what you are talking about, and I am more than pleased this issue has finally been addressed, I too have complained numerous times about players abusing this cheat and support have shown no interest, even though some players have purchased 20k + coins this way amd all but changed the whole landscape of the server and forced innocent players to quit.

Now, the 72 hours deadline that was given by Haypi has long passed, yet all the well known cheaters on the server are still in wc boasting they have not paid up, and are not banned. Are you going to follow through on this Support and actually ban the players who abused this method of hacked coins ?!

Please, for the longevity and stability of the game take action !

I think that it is hard enough to feel that you've been scammed while you were doing something you though was legal.

This game is already dead in most of the servers and will be ruined if all those players finally are gone.

I even heard that whole alliance will go together to other games if some if their members are banned.

Hope Haypi will have common sense in solving this issue.

Common sense would be to ban those who buy cheap coins. If multiple people in their alliance have been caught, chances are they ALL do it.

If you're getting coins anywhere else than from Haypi then it's against the rules, you deserve to be banned, and if you think otherwise, you are in fact a total idiot. What about the fair playing people who buy LOTS of coins? Leave the cheaters in and they can get 10k coins for 10% of what they should cost, and then the fair players will leave. You can't compete with them, so HK will lose money.

Think this stuff through, and don't defend cheaters.



EDIT: With that said, I hear someone who's admitted to getting over 70k coins by way of cheating has once again managed to avoid a ban, I'm assuming for telling support he'd post a list of all known glitches, hacks, bugs, etc. If he can do it, so can they. Don't expect them to be banned.

The cheaters on my server are laughing this off , its embarassing for legit players like myself, some players admit Haypi told them they actually owe hundreds of dollars worth of coins, yet they ignored the letter and nothing has happened.

Can support respond to this issue here please ? After all is was support that sent the letters out.

There are accounts on my server that have been in Refuse War for 8 + months, players are warping on others for as little as 3k pp hits, we are flooded by upgraded cities, 20 crops, perfects, all these illegal coins have ruined the game and now there is a chance to salvage it, all you have to do is follow through with what YOU actually said you would, I just dont get it !

@Dinerete, your arguement makes no sense, you are concerend the servers will be to quiet with out the cheaters ?!

No one ever complained their neighbourhood was too quiet with all the criminals taken off the streets.
