Wtf?

I'm quite annoyed. I had tried LOT of times to enter the correct password to a very old account of mine. And without warning I got a message saying 'you have entered incorrect password too many times, please contact Kingdomsupport@hotmail.com'
I am now unable to log onto any of my accounts because that stupid message keeps flashing up.
Will this be a permanent device ban? Or will it go away eventually? And how long??
It's kind of unfair to shut you out without a warning or two.

It's either 12 hours or 24 hours, deffo not permanent but it is annoying, however it does limit people trying to guess other peoples account passwords

Only if the user is using a static IP. And in most cases they do

thats true, but when your attempting passwords on most thins they give you the notice like "1 more attempt before being locked" or something
i dont know if a message is provided, as never attempted
