Editing of posts

Recently I posted a comment. A moderator decided they wanted to edit it and add some things. They could have done that in the past also. May have added something to a post that would be against forum rules and banned them for the post being there. Sounds like tyranny to me.

I would like to see that moderated removed.

Re: Editing of posts

This is my first post on this forum after many months of lurking but I feel I must comment on this topic.

I was under the impression that this forum was a place for players to share their opinions and allow support to see directly the views of their customers. Sadly however it has become apparent that this is not the case. In an earlier topic about the s92 crash, support themselves posted a comment stating that there was a server down period and they were going to compensate players for any loss. Later in the same topic a mod posts this:

Fix your devices already people so I don't have to clean up these posts. Thanks taem for once again showing the sheeplets how moot their mentality is but hey they need something to get them thru life. End of the day the servers are fine and you guys need to get your hardware fixed. Thanks come again, cool story brah, and of course *pops collar*

The topic was then locked to prevent any further comments. Is this what haypi thinks of their players valued comments?

Haypi support then posted asking players their comments on attack stacking in their laughable beta, have they looked at the 'suggestion' section they themselves presumably created?

This game is sadly dying as it is by ignoring the views of those who remain, haypi support seem content to let this happen.

Re: Editing of posts

Here's a thought.....

Why don't you stop acting a fool and treat others as you'd like to be treated.

Unlike the poster before me, I've read just about every general discussion and haypi guide post that ever was posted. I've seen threads locked as well as posts edited by mods. I've never felt there was any abuse of power, in fact, I find some sarcasm I see quite mild compared to the rabid, contagious viciousness I see some mods faced with.

Falaron....I wanna call a spade a spade here.

How could you know this goldenrico fellow. He's hardly been very active on these forums or the game in the entire time you've played. I remember your very first post bro...I'm the one who replied to it. What I'm getting from you is that infected attitude towards his authority, same as I'm seeing from some others. Who are you and why do you care about making him feel bad?

What are you trying to gain?

Here's a guy who has been loyal to haypi and has more experience with not only the problems you have, but also the problems he's created. No one needs you to fan any fires.

I've got twice as many posts as you, I've cursed, I've ranted, I've been rude, and yet no one as EVER locked my threads or edited my posts.

Why don't you try and fix the problem rather than propagate it? Be the better man, of you will.....you might start by removing that silly signature you have.

@the poster in front of me: you are not only combining two separate issues, but you're also missing much of the context behind these sarcastic remarks by said individuals. I'm glad you've decided to join in our conversations, YOU are exactly the reason these forums keep on.

Re: Editing of posts

Taem, Despite what you assume, I have been here a while and read much of the contents of this forum. I am merely commenting on the fact that a perfectly valid topic about a server crash has been locked for no apparent reason. If there was any abusive or derogatory language in that thread please feel free to correct me.

Re: Editing of posts

I'm not assuming anything, just going off what you said. After just many months of lurking, you'd never know the history behind the years of abuse that resurfaces on occasion like it was there.

On the real tip.....a post alerting support to a crashd sever turned into a smack talk fest on support and a mod. Two no-no's. the first three pages are just wasting space here....nothing but sarcasm and conjecture (which was inaccurate at best).

When support finally replies (understand they do have off on the weekends) the prattle continued and got a lil more personal, and a lot more off topic.

Regardless of that, since the situation has been resolved, there's no reasOn to post anymore there. Anything else that people wanted to say woud be deserving of its own thread, see.

I'm not here tO clarify context bro, Nor do I want to, but there's too many threads right now rambling about the same thing, and it's unnecessary and creates additional workload for those responsible for monitoring it. It's not rocket science....wanna talk more smack on support and mods? Create a talkin' smack on support and mods thread, don't do it in a resolved server crash thread. Btw, good luck with a talkin smack on support and mods thread, for some reason they don't go over well with support md mods.
