Rules concerning expert nominations

Hi, im from s114 and I was just muted for breaking a rule for expert votes. I was done more as a joke then anything but I was muted for breaking a rule . The "expert" claimed I broke an unwritten rule. According to the rules I did not in fact break any rules asking for votes for expert. I would just like some clarity on this information.

On a side note, if in fact this is a hidden rule, it NEEDS to become an official rule to ALL players to prevent experts from making their own rules.

I do agree with Dullus it would be good if chat rules listed this rule.
I will write to support regards this and enquire if chat rules can include and or clarify this for everyone.

It is an unwritten rule not to ask for votes however it isnt a mute-worthy one. Asking for votes is just highly frowned upon

Please Recommend Nominees for Experts

New servers are coming in and we need to elect Experts for the servers. All the players are encouraged to recommend nominees whom you think suitable for the positions. Please refrain from nominating yourself! This is generally frowned upon and we will know if you do or not.

so all in all, this isnt a muteable offense. i appreciate the information. i was more so looking for the opinions of players from all servers. if for whatever reason that this becomes a muteable offense, this rule needs to be put into the rules to prevent players from breaking it.

it isnt a mutable offense, however, nominations dont get you expert. they simply alert support to watch you more closely to see if you deserve expert. asking for nominations, will basically cause support to stop watching you and move on. thats for most cases.

So I truely tried to refrain from naming the expert in my op. But he muted me again and I will say that beastmasta is truely a hypocrite. He says one thing here but then continues to mute me in game? I want an official ruling confirming there is actually a hidden rule.

well, truthfully, this matter, along with screenshots should be taken to support at kingdomsupport@haypi.com. and it is there, that his/her name should be brought up.

legally, they cant give out disciplinary actions to anyone for rules that they do not show. they must publicly display rules for players to follow, in order to give disciplinary actions fro breaking rules. HOWEVER, there are a few things that you should not have done, that are minor, however, could be used in the experts defense:

1) you know that he would mute you for asking for nominations, yet you continued and got muted.

2) he warned you, and it was at that point that you should have stopped asking for nominations, and reported him to support. by not listening to him, or confirming the hidden rule before continuing, you were muted and because of that, the expert did create abuse.

3) you should have taken any ss of this directly to support, and kept the name confidential to everyone except support. even by using private messaging in game, or on the forums.

4) if an expert tells you not to do something, you should immediately follow their wishes, until such time that you can confirm or deny that what they asked of you was in fact appropriate, and within the rules.

in the future, it will help your case if you try to go immediately to support, with any information and screen shots you have.

i truly believe you are in the right in this situation, however, i think this matter needs to be urgently brought to support, for them to investigate. also, until you confirm it with support that it is a mutable offense, dont do it. you will only get muted more if you do, which will dramatically hurt your chances for expert.

Just a couple things. I cannot ss as my phone the lg optimus apparently doesnt have that capability. I truely have no interest in being an expert as I own my own business and am currently attending school. Seems like both of those definitely prevent me from being active enough. Things need to be resolved. If not, this game, or atleast 114, will lose yet another player due to the experts.
