Apologies if this has been asked before, I didn't go through all 17 pages.
We had to abandon a mine due to the hourly prestige dropping to zero, looking at the other vacant mines and they all say the prestige per hour is the same, zero. But was it always like that when viewing a mine?
Or does it take a certain amount of time for a mine to, I guess, regenerate prestige points so it can be occupied again?

As soon as a mine's owner is changed or is abandoned, the mine's prestige output resets. If a mine is owned for 48 hours by the same alliance and has not been abandoned or taken during these 48 hours, the mine's prestige will be halved. If it's owned for another 48 hours after that under the same conditions mentioned above, the mine's prestige will drop to zero. Also note that if the mine has been halved, all honor points that are distributed to the alliance's members will be halved as well. Also if the mine has been zeroed no honor points will be given either.

No, your attribute points only are used in your own battles, alliance wars have no stats, techs, or equipment so every alliance is the same except for army sizes. Because of this defender starts with speed advantage meaning they could have first attack

i dont think there will ever be higher level mines.. the whole point is that when more alliances can only attack level 5 mines then there will be more competition for them and more fights for alliance pp
