George- your post was almost a year ago and I'm not sure if you've eaten your words yet but I'm on a kinda old server and its dead. I'm pretty sure if you take the massive amount if players out of the game that were buying no-game currency, there's not many left. Hence why my serve is all but empty now. Besides, the sites were offering an iTunes hack, not a game hack..keep that in mind. When people paid for coins outside the game, they were actually paying for iTunes gift cards...hence why nothing was done. Btw, support is so gone on at least 3 of the servers I play, who really cares if someone wants to save $20 and get coins?

I agree that this should have been resolved differently. Many of my friends have left the servers. Some returned but most have not. It has killed most of the servers, both by removing the ppl who bought the illegal coins and removing ppl who didn't want to play because their friends left. I understand that HK wants the money but after that long of letting it go, its not fair that they caused ppl to pay all that now. I personally nvr bought hacked coins but still think that it was unfair to everyone. Which player was not affected by this? which player did not lose a friend because someone was banned? and i do agree, if you make ppl pay, lower the price so its possible to be paid. then they get some of the money back and much more cause ppl continue to play and but legal coins. the players would also have been happy cause they feel it was taken care of in a reasonable manner.

Ik this is over but this can be used to resolve future issues.

There is a website that sells in game currency of many games. They claim that they are 100% legit, and the site seems very impressive.
It became a popular way to purchase coins, and haypi has never written about it telling players that its ilegal. Several months ago i actually pointed the site out to support asking them if its legit. Not only did i not recieve an answer, its been running for months without hinderence, or notice from haypi about it being ilegal.

Many many players have bought coins via this site. and a few days ago haypi wrote letters to all saying that if they dont pay for the coins that were bought via the website they will be banned within 72 hours.

Now all these players were dupped into buying "legit" coins..... They would never have bought (at least many of them wouldn't have) these coins if they would have known that they are not legit. and now they are being threatened with a ban. HAYPI has not even sent out a letter saying that its ilegal yet! They know about this problem, but they are allowing customers to fall into the trap!

I think that HAYPIi must come to there senses. Most players cannot afford to pay within a few days several 100 usd. Particullary after having already paid the scammer that money too......

What should haypi do?

1) If the coins have not been spent, take em back, and warn the players to buy just directly via HAYPI. Dont make players pay for something they can't, after they were dupped just like you..............if they havn't spent it, then take it back!

2) If they have spent the coins, I think HAYPI would be clever to ask for a one off payment, EG 25 usd from any player who purchassed these coins. Something that players can and will pay. Haypi will get a decent income, and keep hundereds of satisfeid customers, who will continue buying at the level they can afford.

3) If haypi bans all these players. they surely realize that they will lose hundreds of other costomers too........if an alliance leader is banned and the alliance disbands, many player drop outa the game..............If pepole lose there friends etc.............thousands will drop out! I beleive coming to a fair and ballanced resolution, showing that you care for the customer, particullary as he was scammed as much as you, you will gain much admiration as a pose to resent!

Please don't mention 3rd party coins or being able to glitch them. Can be seen as promoting it and can get you banned/warned. Any complaints please contact support.

Well there are some who get second chances and for that I give haypi two thumbs up.

You can't expect that to come at no cost, however.

I see a lot of commendable debate that is sympathetic tO the offending party (the cheater). Heck, you even make me feel forgiving.

But the burning question in my mind, after a year of reading this very thread, is why did you not voice your opinions on This matter when you signed off on the user agreement, which coincidentally and explicitly forbids this practice of acquiring coins?

Seems to me that argument is 1 (or maybe 1000) day late.

Anything sold outside of haypi is illegal, players that buy from these sites are limiting the money that haypi has to update their games. Furthermore, these illegal coins are paid for by stolen itunes/credit cards or put on by loaders.
