Hmm.. I never thought about that. o_O After looking at all the different feedback, I'm switching to traps now. xD

I'd only switch to traps if I weren't capable of building lvl 9-10 turrets.

Yes, that is nothing relatively speaking, but it is more than a max warehouse will allow you to build. Even if whoever you're attacking had a level 0 cranny and chock full warhouse, you'd make a negative return on that attack. Provided you don't leave troops out, that sort of situation will likely deter people from attacking you just for resources.
Traps kill even less troops than turrets. With max speed and shooting, your opponent will lose troops off lvl 9 & 10 turrets.

To destroy lvl 10 turrets with minimum loses is to feed 1 inf and 1 cav per round and use the archers and cats to clear two row per round,even yr opponent feed u by sacking the 4 troops ,ur archers can only be attacked by the 15 turrets once and 5 turrets once which will kill u 6000 archers.this is the most effective way to clear the turrets

however if the opponent will have troops on the field so it makes this plan virtually impossible as other foces come into play
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

6k archers losses isn't the most effective way to clear lvl 10 turrets...
With max speed and max def you'll move around 1.6k cavs, alot less prestige loss that way, even if you don't go defense with max speed cavs you'll lose around 2.2k cavs, still a smaller prestige loss.

Firstly,turrets kill a fix number which is not affected by the def.secondly,if they have blocker,no matter how high yr speed ,y still cannot touch the turret until y clear all the blockers.conclusion,the most effective way is to lose 6k archers

People hold their troops when they see traps and no turrets, too afraid to lose troops ^.^

lol if you include enemy blockers then obviously everything is different,

If it's a full field of level 10 turrets, the cavs are better than archers for taking them down, there is no question.
There are actually some more micro maneuvers which means even less loss to overall prestige, but that is just too much details to elaborate.

Traps are a LOT better at lower levels. This is because people will ALWAYS have catapults when they attack you. They will ALWAYS outrank the turrets. And you will ALWAYS LOSE PRESTIGE.
Level 9 and 10 turrets will ALWAYS OUT-RANGE CATAPULTS! Traps are junk at level 9 and 10. The only use, like some of the people said, is for stalling. Gaining turns so you can hit them when they're done.
Convince is probably the most useless skill in the game. I just double attack the people who uselessly upgrade convince so I can kill them twice!
There is no doubt about it. Turrets are better at high levels, and if you're not a high level then you shouldn't even be talking.
